Installation Brackets and Pocket Dimensions

Pivot Plates

Levolor Pivot Plates are specifically designed to be used with extruded aluminum mullions with pockets.  Pivot Plates eliminate the need to drill and screw into the aluminum mullion.  Shown here is a typical mullion incorporating a slot on either side for the pivot plate.  The headrail of the blind is installed into the recessed mullion cavity.  Then the plate is turned into place with a screw driver.

Pocket Brackets

A typical pocket installation bracket may require Levolor Pocket brackets.  The standard Pocket Bracket can be installed in two steps: the upper section is first secured in the top of the pocket; then, the flanges on the lower section are snapped over those on the upper section.  This secures the headrail in place.  the top of the pocket must be sturdy enough to support the weight of the blind and the pulling forces required to operate it.
